SNMS Founders Memorial Merit Scholarship to SNG College Students, These scholarship have been introduced from 2017-18 with a view to encourage talents and foster pursuit of excellence. Four such scholarships of equal value (Rupees 25000 each) are awarded every year to Third Year degree students in memory of Sree Narayana Mandira Samiti’s founder President, Chairman, General Secretary and Treasurer.

These Sree Narayana Mandira Samiti (SNMS) Merit Scholarships to SNG College students will be awarded on a competitive basis. The selection will be based on objective criteria taking into account academics performance, achievements / participation in extra-curricular activities, record of classroom attendance, knowledge of life and work of Sree Narayana Guru, record of social service, communication skill etc. The scholarships will be distributed at one of the large functions organized by the College or the SNMS.

ELIGIBILITY AND SELECTION

All Third Year degree student of the SNG College are eligible to apply for the scholarship. It will be subject to the conditions that the applicant has paid all the college dues and has passed all the previous semester examinations conducted by the University. Apart from academic performance, achievements in other areas will have considerable weight. The applications will be processed on the basis of a self-assessment report by the applicant supported by relevant certificates and documents regarding the achievements. The selection will be done by a Committee appointed by the SNMS after scrutinizing the applications and conducting personality test of the candidates as may be decided by the SNMS Management.

HOW TO APPLY

Application should be submitted to SNMS Office by eligible SNG College students in the prescribed form attached along with supporting documents. Application shall be routed through the concerned Class Teacher / Course Coordinator and the Principal.
