Bachelor of Science (Data Science) is a 3-year full time undergraduate programme affiliated to Mumbai University. The course is divided into 6 semesters. The course began in the year 2022 in our institution with the aim of providing a comprehensive and cutting-edge education in the field of data science. The programme is designed to provide students with a strong foundation in data analysis, statistical modelling, and machine learning techniques. It aims to equip students with the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in the field of data science and its applications across various industries.

The syllabus is meticulously designed to encompass a diverse range of subjects, ensuring that students acquire a well-rounded understanding of data science. Students will gain expertise in mathematical foundations, programming languages (Python and R), data management, machine learning, big data technologies, and ethical considerations in data science. Practical application is emphasized through capstone projects and industry internships. The syllabus is designed to ensure graduates are well-prepared for the dynamic field of data science. 

The institutions also provide internship, field visit and placement to the students. The department is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities, including dedicated computer labs with high-performance machines, access to relevant software and tools, and a well-stocked library with an extensive collection of books and journals related to data science.
