CAREER COUNSELLING AND SKILL DEVELOPMENT COMMITTEE

Career counselling and skill development committee aims to guide and direct students to set their career goals and stimulate them to exercise their consistent endeavours to accomplish their career objectives. Keeping in view the competence, interests, and acquired knowledge of the students, it channels the young trainees to fetch lucrative specialized careers. The committee aims them to explore new knowledge and inculcate recent company attitudes among them as per the requirements of the globally competitive world.

To guide the students for their prospective careers.

Mission

To orient the students towards their goal through seminars, awareness programs on higher studies, competitive exams and opportunities in private and public sector organization.

The roles and responsibilities:

To facilitate the development of an integrated and well-adjusted individual.
To ensure that a student is able to successfully deal with the problems and continue with the quality endeavors in her/his academic pursuit.
To provide the students with the necessary information about the courses available and the qualifications required for each course.
To reduce the anxiety level of the students by developing feelings of psychological safety and security for better achievement.
To assist students in developing life skills like interpersonal relationship skills, effective communication skills, critical thinking skills, decision-making skills, problem-solving skills, leadership skills and self-learning skills essential for quality and productive life.
To conduct workshops, seminars and special events to assist students in career planning.

Who can approach?

Students of BA (ECO), BAF, BAMMC, BBI, BCOM, BFM, BMS, BSCDS, BSCIT, BTM and MCOM-ACC, MCOM-BF, MCOM-BM can approach the committee members if required.

General Instructions and Information:

Students can approach the committee members during the departmental hours, 7:30 am to 1:30 pm.
You are required to strictly adhere to the time slot given by the committee members.
Personal problems of the students will be kept confidential by the committee members.
