About Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC)

Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) was established in the academic year 2004 and functions on the basis of the guidelines set forth by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). It works towards improving and maintaining the quality of education, identifying and suggesting new ways of using teaching aids, developing suitable infrastructure and offering suggestions for new self-financing courses. The IQAC has been diligently involved in helping the Management and Principal and other committees by offering valuable suggestions and measures in order to have consistency in maintaining the quality of education. Thus, IQAC is an effective and efficient internal coordinating and monitoring mechanism.


Basic Purpose of IQAC

  • To ensure continuous improvement in the entire operations of the institution
  • To assure stakeholders connected with higher education – namely, students,parents, teachers, staff, would-be employers, funding agencies and society in general - of the accountability of the institution for its own quality and probity.


The IQAC Will Evolve Mechanisms And Procedures For Ensuring The Following: 

  • Timely, efficient and progressive performance of academic, administrative and financial tasks
  • The relevance and quality of academic and research programmes
  • Equitable access to and affordability of academic programmes for various sections of society
  • Optimization and integration of modern methods of teaching and learning
  • The credibility of evaluation procedures
  • The adequacy, maintenance and proper allocation of support structure and services
  • Research sharing and networking with other institutions in India and abroad
